Briqc connects people planning renovation work with contractors in Quebec. This policy explains the personal information we use to provide the platform.
Information we collect
We collect the information you provide for your account, such as your name, email address and phone number. Project requests may include a location, description and budget. Contractor profiles and bids may include business information, licence details, supporting documents and proposal content.
Sign in with Google
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides the account details needed to identify you, including your email address and name. We use these details to create or access your Briqc account. Briqc does not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive or other Google files.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts, display relevant projects and bids, connect project participants, send account and activity notices, provide support and protect the platform. Essential session cookies help keep you signed in.
Who can see information
Information in project requests, contractor profiles and bids is shown to the people who need it for the platform to work, according to the visibility of each feature. Service providers that host the platform or process authentication may handle information on our behalf. Do not include sensitive information in project descriptions or bids unless it is needed.
Storage and protection
We keep information while it is needed to provide the service and meet applicable obligations. We use access controls to limit who can view account and project information. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and requests
You can review some account information in Briqc. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or to ask how it is used. We will respond according to applicable law.
